Due to the current situation regarding Covid-19, we’ve decided to postpone Dublin Games Conference until further notice.
Last year, after the collapse of the European Games Week, we saw the Irish Games Industry band together with us to create an event in only 4 days. We saw first-hand the enthusiasm and desire for a genuine industry conference, run with the best interest of the industry at its core.
This year, we set our sights on a 2-day event, over September 22nd and 23rd. However, due to the ongoing uncertainty regarding COVID-19, we have no choice but to cancel the event, with a view to hosting an event of similar scope at a later date.
We’ve taken this decision with the best interests of our partners, our staff, and our attendees in mind - both in terms of physical health and financial stability.
We’ll be listening closely to guidelines laid out by the Irish government, and relevant national and international health bodies, as to when planning can resume in earnest. In the meantime, we’ll continue to work in the background to ensure that the next iteration of DGC will be something special. It is our fervent hope that we’ll be able to see everyone there, with the anxiety and uncertainty of COVID-19 firmly in the rear-view mirror.
In the meantime we hope you all stay safe. If there is anything at all that our team can help you with in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
The team at Dublin Games Conference.
